Zenaida's tenacity and gentle strength were a beacon to all who knew her, and her unwavering spirit made her an inspiration and a pillar of energy within her community.

Born in Manila, Zenaida was a lifelong educator and an eternal student. She earned her degree in education from Philippine Normal College (PNC) and later pursued a Master's in Education from the University of the Philippines. Her love for learning was boundless, and she embraced every opportunity to grow and excel. As an educator, Zenaida was cherished by her students for her nuturing nature, kindness, and generous spirit.

Her legacy of love, wisdom, and resilience will live on through those who knew and adored her.

Zenaida was a devoted and loving mother to Estrella Esteban Federe (married to Robert Federe). She took immense pride in her grandchildren, Matthew Federe (married to Elina Lin) and Chloe Federe, finding joy in watching them blossom into the wonderful individuals they are today.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dionisio Esteban, Zenaida was the cherished daughter of Miguel Cruz I and Escolastica 'Tikang' Trimor Cruz.
