Yvonne Spangle loved to grow flowers. And she loved children. She loved other things too,

such as all things associated with French language and culture, but she was never more in her

element than when tending to children and to her geraniums. Words used to describe Yvonne

include vibrant, amazing, kind, loving, and caring.

Yvonne was born in San Francisco to the late Elie and Marthe Campredon, who were French

immigrants. She graduated from Sequoia High School in Redwood City, CA and married Albert

Spangle on Valentines Day in 1953. She moved with her young family to Cupertino in 1959,

where she remained for 61 years.

Yvonne is survived by her sons Steven and Wayne, grandsons Wayne and Dustin, sister Lily

Cowan, and several nieces and nephews and their families. She was pre-deceased by

husband Albert and sisters Elise and Helen.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Friday March 20, 2020, at 1:00 PM

at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd, Colma CA.
