Wayne Lee Fluss (age 67) of Cupertino passed away unexpectedly on October 19th. Wayne was born in San Jose on July 9, 1956. He and his twin brother Walter attended Santa Clara high school, graduating in 1974.

As a young man Wayne loved to work outside and found himself a job with a prominent tree trimming company. He quickly learned the trade and eventually became a certified arborist for the City of Palo Alto. He was a valued employee for the City of Palo Alto for over 30 years. He worked as a certified arborist, heavy equipment operator and maintenance engineer. On weekends Wayne ran his own professional tree trimming company. He truly was a jack of all trades.

His Family and friends knew him as a big hearted man who was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a master BBQ and grill chef and always made too much food so he could hand out leftovers to friends, family and neighbors. No one ever left his house hungry.

Wayne loved talking with people and making new friends. Many of us remember him saying "Gimme some love..." while holding his arms wide open inviting you in for a big warm hug.

Wayne was a motorcycle enthusiast and he enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, fishing, and trips to Hawaii. His homemade limoncello was outstanding and he loved sharing his special blend with friends and family.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Millie Fluss, and his twin brother, Walter Jr. Wayne is survived by his two sons, Tyson and Shawn, daughter Katrina, step children Paul and Sabrina Martinez, soulmate Xiomara, and sister Linda Clark.

Services will be held at Spangler Mortuary in Sunnyvale on Saturday, November 18th at 10:00am followed by a celebration of life at the family home in Cupertino.
