Obituary of Walter Fred Schrumpf

Our beloved husband, daddy, papa and gramps passed away peacefully on February 2, 2013 surrounded by his family. Walter was a longtime resident of the bay area, living in Mountain View for the past 40 years. He was born in San Francisco and graduated from Balboa High School and Golden Gate College. In 1958 he married his lifelong love Donna. He worked at Lockheed Missile and Space until his retirement in 1985. He enjoyed working in his yard, picking fruit, spending time with his family, and the horses! We will all cherish his memory and he will forever be the "whole package". Walter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna, and their three daughters, Robyn Schrumpf, Cynthia Stormes (Greg) and Jill Burns (Steve), and grandchildren, Brandon, Steven, Brittany, Stephany, Kylie, Courtney, Dana, Lindsay, Mason and Bailey. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating Walter's life on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Spangler Mortuary, 399 S. San Antonio Road, Los Altos, CA 94022.
