SZESUN CHEUNG, 89, died June 22, 2022. His last final days were spent surrounded by his family.
Szesun born in Guangdong, China, came from a big family of seven siblings. Due to politics, Szesun
left his hometown at a very young age of 12 to Kongmoon, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, to finally later
immigrate to Venezuela. In Venezuela, Szesun met and married his wife and had three children. He
was a dedicated spouse and father. He spent most of his life in Venezuela working hard to support and
raise his family. In 2008, Szesun immigrated to San Francisco Bay Area where he enjoyed his
retirement years with his grandchildren.

Szesun enjoyed very much spending his days off with his children, reading newspapers, watching
news, groceries shopping, experimenting in the kitchen, and preparing his favorite dishes.
Szesun is survived by his wife, Lin; his three children, Cristina, Jaime, and Cecilia; his son-in-law,
James; his daughter-in-law, Monica; and his three grandchildren, Caleb, Colin, and Emmie.
Funeral services will be held at Spangler Mortuaries in Los Altos, CA on June 30, 2022 at 11:00 am.

familia.
Szesun nacido en Guangdong, China, proviene de una familia de siete hermanos. Por conflictos
políticos, Szesun dejó su pueblo natal a la temprana edad de los 12 años a Kongmoon, Guangzhou,
Hong Kong, para finalmente inmigrar a Venezuela. En Venezuela, Szesun conoció y se casó con su
esposa y tuvo tres hijos. Szesun fue un esposo y padre muy dedicado. El vivió la mayoría de su vida en
Venezuela trabajando duro para apoyar y mantener su familia. En 2008, Szesun inmigró a la área de
San Francisco para disfrutar de su retiro junto a sus nietos.

Szesun le gustaba disfrutar sus días libres con sus hijos, leyendo periódicos, viendo noticias en la
televisión, haciendo mercado, experimentado en la cocina, y preparando sus platos favoritos.
Szesun es precedido por su esposa, Lin; sus tres hijos, Cristina, Jaime, y Cecilia; su yerno, James; su
nuera, Monica; y sus tres nietos, Caleb, Colin, y Emmie.
El servicio funerario se hará en Spangler Mortuaries en Los Altos, CA el día 30 de Junio a las 11:00
am.
