Obituary of Susi Karin Guzsella-Dorogi

Susi Karin Guzsella passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Pasedena CA where she lived with her sister and parents. She later moved to Palmdale CA and Chicago IL, before returning to the Bay Area in 2000 to be nearer to her family (living in San Jose and Mountain View). She had a fulfilling career as a Buyer for the food industry, and then as a Supply Chain Manager for the laser industry (Lightwave Electronics, JDS, Mobius Photonics, and IPG Photonics). She was a loving aunt, a dedicated Sharks fan (and played ice hockey herself), and a devoted companion to her cats. She is survived by her sister Evi Guzsella Byer and her nephews and niece (Scott Byer, Mark Byer, Douglas Byer, and Evi-Lynn Byer Young). Per her wishes, no services will be held but donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family, who are grateful for her presence in our lives.
