Obituary of Sue Humphries

Sue Humphries, 80, passed away peacefully at home. She was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, went into remission, then it came back a year later with force. She had been an elementary school teacher before going back to school to become an x-ray technician in mammography at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and was a longtime resident of Palo Alto. She loved nature, traveling throughout the U.S. and the world with her husband, Richard, and singing, including with the Peninsula Women's Choir. Her smile would light up a room and the hearts of those she met.

She leaves behind Richard, her loving husband of 57 years, son Daniel, daughter Gwyneth Anne and son-in-law David.
