Shuchun Pan, age 87, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024 at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose.
Born on March 15, 1937 in Huian, Fujian, China, Shuchun lived in Santa Clara county for more than 20 years. She was a loving wife to Jiashui Ye, and a devoted mother to Yisong Ye and Yiqing Ye.
Shuchun graduated from East China Normal University in Shanghai. While in college, she loved to play sports and was the point guard of the varsity women's basketball team. She dedicated 28 years to teaching high school biology and took great pride in her work. She was inspirational and greatly loved by her students.
Shuchun will be deeply missed, but her love, dedication, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A private Burial Service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 10 am on May 28, 2024.
