Shirley Anne Daly, age 79, of Mountain View, passed away Friday morning, April 19, 2019, at Sunny View Retirement Community, after a 7-year battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born March 6, 1940 in Sacramento, a daughter of Hermina Elizabeth Hurd and Virgil Shepherd Ford.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She is survived by Tracey Smith (daughter), Jack Smith (son-in-law), Jauslyn Robbins (granddaughter), Jake Robbins (grandson-in-law), and her many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting antiques, and listening to music.

Shirley's funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Spangler Mortuary in Los Altos. A burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos.
