Obituary of Salvador Muniz

91 years young. Born in Seguin, Texas to Salvador (Sr.) and Juana Muniz. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Virginia, daughters Francis Gonzalez and Gloria Rosas, sons Sal and John Muniz, sister Flora Rodrigues and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Carlotta, brothers Frank, Joaquin, Raul, John and Jesse. Sam, an Army veteran, fought in the European Theater, participating in the Normandy Invasion of World War II as a Heavy Artillery Gunner. He spent his career as a Residential Painter, painting many tract home developments throughout the Bay Area. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends he made along his journey. There will be visitation at 11:00 on Friday, May 16th at the Sunnyvale Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, 174 N. Sunnyvale Avenue in Sunnyvale. Funeral services are at 1:00 PM at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
