Obituary of Rufus C. Goodwin

In loving memory of Rufus C. Goodwin, M.D. born in Stillwater, Oklahoma July, 14 1918 and died in Palo Alto, Ca November 4, 2011 at the age of 93. Rufus had survived his first wife of 25 years Patricia Bernard Goodwin of San Francisco who died April 9, 1965 and his second wife of 36 years, Ann Morey Goodwin who died September 17, 2009. Rufus is survived by his children, William Goodwin, Susan Schweer, of Irvine, Ca., Robert Goodwin of Gold River, Ca., and Marilyn Axt of Hillsboro Or., and his stepchildren Joe Morey of Atherton Ca., Jan Morey of Morgan Hill Ca., Arlene Mariani of Saratoga Ca., Marty Morey of Los Altos Ca., and survived by grandchildren Nathan and Corey Axt, Fred and Scott Schweer, Nancy Wallace, Molly Passanisi, Janna Stonebarger, Julie Cassel, Tracy Mariani, Adam and Luke Morey and Julie Degrosz; survived by great grandchildren Hudson, Landon and Everett Schweer; Whitney, Maddie and Joe Wallace; Amelia, Sofia, and Nico Passanisi; James, Wil, Stella and Emerie Stonebarger; Nellie and Beau Cassel; Brooke and Ryan Morey; Kaitlan, John and Luke Degrosz; Alessandra Morey and Griffin Morey. Rufus is also survived by his sisters-in-law Marilynn Gontrum of Baltimore Md. And Cecelia Goodwin of Oklahoma City, Betty Barnett of Larkspur, Ca. and survived by nephews Tom and Brad Goodwin, John Gontrum, and nieces Laura Mach and Tricia Sare and great nephews Tom and Colon Goodwin, Adam and Austin Goodwin, Johnathon Mach, and great niece Kacie Mach and great, great niece Teaya Shaw.
