Obituary of Ruby Jewel Conn Sturm

Ruby was born in Highlandville, Missouri.
She spent her high school years in Portland, Oregon before making her home in Santa Clara Valley of California in the early 1950s. Ruby was a full-time homemaker and loving mother.

She joined The Loyal Order of the Moose female auxiliary, Women of the Moose in the 1970s, during her tenure, she held the office of Sr. Regent, earned her Academy of Friendship, Green Cap, and College of Regents degree.

She will be missed by her husband, Earl Sturm; daughters, Jan Allen, Jill Eaton and daughter in-law Marilyn Conn; grandchildren, Gary Allen Jr. (Valerie), Larry Eaton, Brandy Allen, Nadine Houle (John), Krystal Allen Wilson (J.R.), Kendall Conn, Cierra Conn, Cienna Conn; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Allen, Brittany Allen, Brandon Allen, Cody Worrell, Krystal M. Allen, Isaiah Allen, Arianna Allen, Twyla Houle, Kayden Allen, Lydia Houle and Dalilah Houle; great-great-granddaughter Mayven Watson; sisters, Koetia Hayes and Debbie (Gary) Olivera and step-mother Beulah Mohr.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Ellis Hayes and Coweta Farrell; her son Bradley Conn and great-granddaughter Alicyia Allen; sisters Stacy and Martha Hayes; brothers George Hayes, Stephen Hayes, and Dennis Farrell.

A Memorial Service to honor Ruby will be held on Tuesday, February 28. 2017, at 12:00 Noon at Spangler Mortuary, 174 N. Sunnyvale Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 408-736-6294.
