Born in Berlin, Germany on August 16, 1940, Rosemarie Sauter passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. A resident of Los Altos since 1964,

Rosemarie was married to George Juergen Sauter in 1962 and they were married for 49 years when George passed away. Rosemarie was a housewife who enjoyed growing orchids and when she became older had companion dogs that she just adored.

Rosemarie worked as a teller at the Wells Fargo Bank Los Altos branch for a few years and enjoyed the interaction with her customers.
Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Susanne Sauter of Los Altos, her son Steve & Jennifer Sauter along with grandchildren Brianna and Cameron of Mountain View along with her brothers, Ralf Scherb of Berlin, Germany and Heinz Scherb of Bremerhaven, Germany and her sister Gisela King of Mission Viejo, CA.


A celebration of her life will be held at Valley Church, 10885 North Stelling Road in Cupertino on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Mount Herman Conference Center www.mounthermon.org and apply gift in the Give Section or to Villalobos Rescue Center www.vvcpitbuill.com and apply donation.
