Robert S. Melenudo 97 years of Sunnyvale passed away peacefully on March 02, 2026. He was born on June 18, 1928, in Sliver City, New Mexico. He moved to the Bay Area in the early fifties. Robert was a successful Carpenter and Building Contractor. He was part of building the Bay Area housing boom.

He loved spending time in the garden and building birdhouses in his workshop. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, humor, determination, strong work ethic, and dedication to his Family.

Robert is survived by his eldest Son Robert, Daughter-in-law Margret, Daughter Patricia, Son Christopher, Grandson Jare, and Great Grandson Jace Niko (lil Mel). He was preceded in death by his beloved spouse Fernanda Garcia and son Rudolph.

A memorial service will be held on March 18th at 10am at Spangler Mortuary, 174 N. Sunnyvale Ave and mass proceeding at 11:30am at St Martins Catholic Church, 590 Central Ave., Sunnyvale 94087.

Robert will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family.
