Richard (Richie) Avila passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 6, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. A strong, loving man, Richie loved his family, enjoyed boating, gardening, his Warriors, 49ers and Giants, but most of all his family and becoming a grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, three daughters, and one grandson. He is from a family of 10 brothers and sisters. Richie was the most hard working man I ever knew, he was a perfections at anything he did, including his trade at Wall Covering Design. The best wall paper installer. Richie was loved by all that knew him and will greatly be missed.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct 19 starting at 5:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Spangler Mortuary, Sunnyvale. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Oct 20 at St Martin's Church in Sunnyvale at 2:00pm.
