Obituary of Ralph C. Ramirez
Ralph C. Ramirez, 88 of San Jose,CA, born February 9, 1921 in Fresno,CA., passed away peacefully at home, June 1, 2009. Ralph was a first generation Spaniard whose parents emigrated from southern Spain in the early 1900's to Hawaii, before settling in the Santa Clara Valley. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War l l and retired from San Jose Hospital. Preceded in death by his brothers Andrew and Peter Ramirez, and sister Mary Gomez. Survived by nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 5, 2009 at Spangler Mortuary, Sunnyvale Chapel, Sunnyvale,CA. Burial will take place on Monday, June 8 at 1:00pm.
