Obituary of Pauline Elizabeth Davis

Pauline Elizabeth "Libby" Davis passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family near her side of Natural causes on September 18, 2011. Elizabeth was born in Blevis,Texas on June 17, 1923, and grew up on her family farm in Eddy, Texas. Libby as she was known met the love of her life, Joseph M. Davis, Jr in 1943. They were married for 57 years before he preceded her in passing in 2009. Libby was distinguished by her great laugh and her sense of humor as well as her unwavering devotion to her family. She enjoyed traveling and boating with her family and was an accomplished tennis player. Libby and Joe traveled the world to exotic places such as Egypt and China before settling in Los Altos in 1964. She is survived by her two loving sons, Joseph M. Davis III and his wife Xia of Charlotte,NC and Alan Randolph Davis of Anaheim, CA, two grandchildren Alyxia Davis and Ashley Davis along two Great Grandchildren Jacob Klepaszewski and Angelina Amezcua. A Visitation will take place at the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries,399 South San Antonio Road, Los Altos,Ca from 11am to 1pm, Thursday, September 22, 2001. The Chapel service will begin at 1:00pm with the interment to follow at Alta Mesa Memorial Park.
