Norma Elizabeth Wilson (Spediacci), 92, of Los Altos, passed away peacefully in her home on May 31, 2018. She is survived by her only daughter Cindie Candau, her caring son-in-law Michael, three grandchildren Brian (Cybele), Scott (Natalie) and Kristi (Sean), six great-grandchildren, Zach, Mikaela, Grant, Giselle, Kate and Ivy, and nieces Lisa and Maureen.



Norma was born July 13, 1925 in San Francisco. The daughter of Angelina and Alcide Spediacci, she was the middle of three children. She remained close with her elder sister Ann (Ed), and her younger sister Rosemary (Bob), throughout her life.



Norma enjoyed her upbringing in San Francisco, and she especially loved the 35 years she worked as a dental assistant in North Beach. She was always very social and made many friends during her years there.



While working at Original Joe's in San Francisco, Norma met her future husband, Charles Wilson, who she described as the love of her life. They married in 1973 and eventually left San Francisco in 1975 to move to Los Altos, where they lived for the remainder of their lives. She was deeply saddened by his passing in November of 2017.



While living in Los Altos, she became an active member of the Elks Club in Palo Alto. She and her husband Charles remained members of the Olympic Club in San Francisco, where he enjoyed working for 13 years. Norma enjoyed volunteering and was a long-time member of the El Camino Hospital Auxillary. She volunteered there as a Pink Lady for over 20 years.



Norma and Charlie loved traveling, especially with her sisters and their husbands. Their adventures were filled with laughter, plenty of sun bathing and playing Yahtzee.
