Obituary of Nina Eleanora Steiner

Nina Eleanora Steiner, 83, passed away at her home in Los Altos Hills, CA. Nina was the daughter of James F. Liston and Katherine L. Liston of Lexington, KY. She enjoyed involvement in many groups like Presbyterian Women, The Hills Club, Glass Club, Mariners and Lions Club and gave her time freely volunteering. She loved her house and making it a home to entertain friends and family with Kentucky Derby Day parties and Holiday Tea parties. In 1951 Nina married the love of her life James W. Steiner who preceded her in death in 2010. She is survived by her three children, Doug Steiner (Joanie) of Koloa, HI, Leslie Depweg of Chico, CA and Karen Driflot (Tor) of McCall, ID and grandchildren Amy Watts (Seth) of Chico, CA and Kyle Depweg of San Diego, CA. Nina was a kind and caring woman who had a wonderful impact on all who were fortunate enough to meet her. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
