Obituary of Nena De Gracia Hufano

Nena passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of Peter Rafanan Hufano for 52 years until his passing in 2004. Nena was a tireless educator for 30 years in Manila, Philippines until she immigrated to the United States in 1983. She lived for several years in Houston, Texas before moving to San Jose, California in 1988. She is survived by her children Cynthia, Marilou, Boots, Cris and Pedro Jr. Nena will be deeply missed by her family, friends and former students. Visitations will be on Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27 from 5:00 to 9:00PM at Spangler Mortuary, 399 South San Antonio Road, Los Altos, CA 94022. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00AM on Saturday, June 28 also at Spangler Mortuary. Interment to follow immediately at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014.
