On October 21, 2022, Mary Carlotta passed away peacefully at the age of 92.  Mary was born June 24th, 1930  in Trenton, New Jersey to her parents Frank & Rose (Ficherra) Torrisi. The family moved to Sunnyvale in 1940.

Mary went to Fremont High School in Sunnyvale. She worked with her Mother Rose at the Libby's Cannery until September of 1958.

Mary was introduced to Marion (Mud) Carlotta by his sister-in-law Rose Carlotto. After dating for a year they decided to elope on  December 18, 1954.

Mary & Mud were blessed with four children, Frank, Louis, Chris, and Cindy Marie.

Mary's life long friends were Lilly Robles, Jean & Thelma Patton, and Val Hamilton.

Mary loved bowling, sewing, trips to Tahoe (playing nickel machines), and dancing at the Sunnyvale Moose Lodge with Mud. She earned a number of first place bowling trophies, bowled a 300 game and numerous 600 series games.

Mary was proceeded in Death by her husband Marion (Mud) Carlotta , son Frank Carlotta , brother  Fred Torrisi, and parents  Frank & Rose Torrisi.

She is survived by her three children

Louis Carlotta (Beth), Chris Carlotta (Maria), Cindy M Carlotta , and daughter-in-law Cindy Carlotta .

Mary had 10 grandchildren:

Ava Carlotta , Aiden Tripp, Carson Carlotta , Amelia Tripp, Brinley Carlotta , Raelynn Carlotta , Emma Carlotta , Shayla Carlotta , Riley Carlotta , Marie Stowe, Maya Stowe, Hailey Tripp, and Chloe Folk
