Obituary of Marilyn Vidovich
Marilyn passed peacefully at home surrounded by the family she so loved after a long battle with cancer. She now joins her husband, Stephen John Vidovich, who predeceased her in 2007 and to whom she was married for 55 years. Loving Mother of John and Michael Vidovich, Kathryn Tomaino, and Mary Jane Vidovich. Sister of Norma Balestrieri (deceased), William Arbanas (deceased), Adrienne Silvestri, and Alexandria Treffry (deceased). Adored sister-in law of Claire Batistich and mother-in-law of Lydia Vidovich. Proud Grandmother of Teresa, Laura, Kate, and Stephen Vidovich, Jenna Tomaino and Matthew Tomaino (deceased). Michael, Nicholas, and Vincent Vidovich and Janie Marie Vidovich. Great-grandmother to Marieva Wagner. Marilyn was born in Watsonville to Tom and Agnes Arbanas. She was awarded a scholarship to Moreland Notre Dame High School in Watsonville. After graduation she attended San Jose State University for one year. She and Steve married August 2, 1952. Marilyn was a past president of the Young Ladies Institute and a member of the Valleon Club with her husband. Marilyn loved her family and entertaining friends together with Steve. She was a true homemaker who loved to cook, garden, sew, knit, read, and do puzzles. She and her husband resided in Los Altos. They built both their family homes together. During the 80's and 90's she wintered in Rancho Mirage where she took up golf. Marilyn will be deeply missed. Private memorial and internment have been held.
