Maria was born to Petra Jimenez & Ramon Pope on September 30th of 1924 in Piedras Negras, Coahuahuila, Mexico.

Maria was a matriarch with a multi-generational legacy. A devout Christian, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, businesswoman, and the best cook who never followed a recipe in her life.

Maria moved to Sunnyvale in 1959. She purchased The Mira Mar in downtown Sunnyvale in 1962.

Maria went to heaven on October 15th, 2021.

Survived & loved by her children. Her son, Jesus Tomas Perry, his four children, Joshua, Paloma, Paola, Priscilla & one granddaughter Jorja. Her son, Lee Perry, his wife Maria, his four children, Lanett, Lisa, Lindsey, Michael (Beau), eight grandchildren, Krista, Joshua, Jacob, Kaya, Jesse, Bella, Emmeline, Abigail & one great grandson Forest. Her son, Sam Perry & his two children, Samantha and Luke. Her son, Jim Perry, his wife Julie & his five children, Bernadette, Joseph, Mona, Marissa, Jonathan & his 10 grandchildren, Esme, Mina, Orion, Meridian, Zephyrin, Balian, Valerian, Freya, Leia, and Elle. Her daughter, Mia Perry, her husband, Nathan & her two children, Deitrich and Marina.

Maria was lovingly cared for by Maria Cortez Perry.

Maria will be greatly missed
