Linda Gaffri Mulloy, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother passed peacefully Sunday September 10, 2023 at Stanford University Hospital succumbing to a more than two-year battle with cancer.

Linda was born on June 12, 1951 in Mason City, Iowa to Herbert and Mary Gaffri. She attended Newman High School and Northern Iowa Community College and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1973 at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She began her nursing career at the University of Iowa Hospitals in the Coronary Care Unit.

In 1977, Linda moved to Mountain View, CA and was hired at El Camino Hospital in the Coronary Care Unit eventually becoming co-nurse manager of the unit.  After leaving El Camino, Linda worked for several years as a home health care nurse and finished her career as a cardiac rehab nurse in Palo Alto. Linda was widely respected for her nursing skills, unmatched in the care she gave and ability to deliver compassionate care to her patients.

In her free time, Linda attended Jazzercise classes twice a week. Some of her favorite artists to dance to included Bruno Mars, Beyonce and the Jersey Boys. She enjoyed concerts, filet mignon at Sundance, Broadway shows, sporting events (Go Hawks!), baking and spending time with her family.

Linda met her husband Chuck in 1977 in Iowa City and the two married in December of 1978 in Mason City.  They raised their family in Mountain View. Linda was an extraordinarily loving and giving mother to Colin and Caitlin.  She was a very proud loving grandmother of two boys whom she adored.

Linda is survived by her husband Chuck, son Colin and daughter-in-law Carli, daughter Caitlin, Grandsons William and Harrison and sister Donna.

A celebration of life will be held at Michaels at Shoreline in Mountain View on Saturday October 7th from 10:30a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
