Lenny Andrew Wenrick 68, of Reno, NV went to his Lord on August 21, 2019 at

Stanford University Hospital in California due to complications from surgery.

Lenny was born on July 20, 1951 in Maywood, CA, the son of Charles R. and Celeste Ruth (Jischke) Wenrick.

He lived an adventurous life to include being an avid football player at Oakmont H.S and at Sierra college. In addition to working at the Roseville, CA fire department servicing the community utilizing his college degree in fire science, he was a commercial fisherman in Alaska. He loved horses and was an accomplished rider. He later worked at Boeing and Lockheed aerospace industries specializing in the safety department. At the time of his death, he served as an independent insurance adjuster taking pride in being able to assist those in need from losses to their homes and businesses--bringing them a glimpse of hope.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, step-daughter Joelle Barron, step-son Jake Barron and wife Wendy, sister Saundra Matheny and husband Sam. He was Grandpa Len to Allison (Levi) Bliss, Caitlynn (Sterling) Dennis, Ashlee Barron, and Kelcey Cooper. He is also survived by his aunt Leona Wenrick of Costa Mesa, CA, along with a niece, nephews, and several loving cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
