Lela was born in San Jose and attended college at University of the Pacific, where she served as president of her sorority Delta Delta Delta and was recognized in Who's Who. Lela loved the SF Giants, 49ers and Warriors and never missed a game.

Her passion for real estate kept her busy.

Above all, Lela was a devoted animal lover who cherished her beloved pets.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and ability to listen with compassion. Generous, authentic, genuine and inquisitive Lela always wanted to hear what you were up to and never forgot your birthday. She had a timeless sense of style and was always beautifully put together.

Lela was preceded in death by her loving parents John and Audrey Knight. She is survived by her devoted husband Willis, her beloved sons John and Dan, her cherished daughter Amy and her granddaughter Katie.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
