Obituary of Keiko Mizuhara

Keiko Mizuhara passed away peacefully at home the morning of August 4, 2015. She will be greatly missed by her surviving husband Yosuke, sister Michiko, son Kevin, daughter Linda, grandsons Cole and Jake, and many other friends and family members. Born in Alameda, CA, she was raised in Los Altos, CA, and graduated from Mountain View High School. She attended San Francisco State University where she met and married her husband of 52 years. After retiring from Stanford Hospital, Kei took great pleasure seeing the world and took trips to Asia, Europe and Hawaii. She had a multitude of interests and stayed busy reading, knitting, weaving, visiting with friends and spoiling her two grandkids. People describe Kei include: caring, positive, funny, creative, loving, kind and compassionate. Her happy spirit and positive attitude will be greatly missed by many friends and family members. A memorial service for Kei will be held at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple on August 22 at 11:30.am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
