Obituary of Josephine D. Toledo
If roses grow in Heaven Lord Please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there is an ache within my heart That will never go away. I didn't know when this day would come. As a child, I hoped that it would never come. When I watched my Mother get ready to go to work, I would start to cry begging her not to leave me. I asked my Mother one day, "What will I do without you"? She said you will be FREE just as I will be. Do not be sad for me and rejoice in the beauty of Gods glory every single day. I always prayed that my Mom would live long enough to see grandchildren, thank you God for Kristina, that she would live a long and happy life, she lived until 90 years young, and that she would not suffer when it was time for her to leave, she died very peacefully. And when this day did come, God gave me the strength to let her go. My Mother's love for her family and friends was priceless. She was a kind and generous sole who cared about everyone. Her sisters, Francis Sevilla, Lucy Cambra, Mary Sevilla, Ann Blasquez and her brother Martin Fernandez meant the world to her. She loved her cousins, nephews, nieces and shared many memories about her favorite cousin Mary Mena. We would like to thank We Care Personal Services. thank you Theresa, thank you Angela and thank you Nancy who all made my Moms remaining time a joyful one. And to Dr. Strong for providing such wonderful care. Thanks for everything Mom. We love you now and for eternity. Your spirit will be a part of us forever. Until we meet again, Love, Becky and Kenny
