Obituary of Jorge Avila
Jorge Avila, 53, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. He was a true fighter till the very end and he did it all for his family. He was a dedicated worker in the PC circuit board industry. He was a longtime resident of San Jose. He loved traveling and he was a man up for adventures. He was a true die hard Raider fan, through thick and thin. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and food. Once you got to know him, you soon discovered how quick witted he was.
Jorge is survived by his loving wife, Esperanza Avila (also known as Hope), and his two loving children, Leah and Jorge Jr. Avila. He is also survived by his mother, Hermelinda; father, Octavio; brothers, Javier, Robert, and Jaime; and his sisters, Norma, Juana, Minerva, and Nancy.
A celebration of Jorge's life and reception in his honor will be held on Saturday afternoon, November 26th at 1pm, 174 N. Sunnyvale Ave. Sunnyvale Ca, 94086.
