Obituary of Joel Pfluger

Joel Pfluger Nov. 16, 1981 - Jan. 3, 2014 Resident of Sunnyvale Joel Pfluger, age 32, loving father, son, grandson, brother and friend, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 3, 2014. Joel is survived by his beloved son Liam Gillies, his parents, Don and Florentine, his grandmother Betsy, his brothers and sisters Nathan, Katie, Peter, Timarie, Dominic and Bernadette as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Joel worked as a carpenter and was highly thought of by his co-workers and clients who appreciated his work ethic, sense of humor and thoughtfulness. The love of his life was his 9 month old son Liam. Joel also enjoyed camping, shooting and generally hanging out with his friends and family. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Spangler Mortuary, 174 North Sunnyvale Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086 on Friday, January 10, 2014 at noon. Friends can make a donation to a trust fund to be set up for the education of his son Liam.
