Obituary of Jo Ann Foley

Jo Ann passed away suddenly, Wednesday April 23, 2014. Age 49. She is the beloved wife of Joseph Foley and devoted mother of Lauren and Joseph. Jo Ann was born in Toluca, IL to Frank Kozak (predeceased) and Hazel Kozak. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Barbara Kozak, nephews George, Ben & David. She is also survived by the Foley family: James and Joan Foley (parents), James and (Julie) Foley, John and (Jennifer) Foley, Anne Foley, Steve and (Carla) Foley and 6 nieces and nephews. Jo Ann was a graduate of Rockford College, IL and worked at Affymetix leading the Health, Safety and Environmental programs. She was active in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, enjoyed crafts, reading and spending time with family and friends. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday May 9, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Simon's Catholic Church, 1860 Grant Road, Los Altos, CA, 94024. A reception at the Church will immediately follow to celebrate her life and support family, friends, and their children. Internment is at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery on Saturday for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Kara-grief.org.
