Obituary of Jean Lorraine Foord

Jean Lorraine Foord, 89, of Sunnyvale, CA was born in San Francisco, CA. She was a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS) and an active member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Jean and her husband Myron, married 59 years when he passed in 2001, were past residents of Bodega Bay where they were active in the Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and the Saint Teresa Guild. They were also long time residents of Rio Vista, CA where they were active in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Jean is survived by her 10 children, Brian Foord, La Quinta, CA; Gael Foord Hoffman, Portland, OR; Kriste Towns, N. Ogden, UT; Janis Patterson, Hulbert, OK; Erin Foord, Sunnyvale, CA; Bradley Foord, Williamsburg, VA; Debora Heinze, Geyserville, CA; Eden Foord, Menasha, WI; Tracey Leveroni, Orland, CA; Wendy Burghardt, Rio Vista, CA. Survived also by 42 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, along with brothers Fred Bates, San Diego, CA, and Mike McCloskey, Bakersfield, CA. Friends may visit at the SPANGLER MORTUARY, 174 N. Sunnyvale Ave., Sunnyvale, CA on Tuesday, July 31, with viewing starting at 4:00 pm and rosary and remembrances starting at 7:00 pm. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 2800 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. Jean will be interred next to her husband Myron at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Bodega, CA.
