Jack Uebbing passed away on Sunday evening at his home in Palo Alto. He was born at Stanford Hospital and attended Palo Alto schools. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in psychology and received a teaching certificate from De Paul University in Chicago. He taught at schools in Chicago, Florida, California and China.

Jack was always quick to laugh and, with his easy going nature, made his young nieces extremely happy. He will be missed by all for his intelligence, integrity and kindness.

He leaves behind his parents, John and Roberta Uebbing, his sister Mary Frances Ebringer, his brother-in-law, Lawrence Ebringer and his two nieces, Flora and Madeline Ebringer, as well as his aunt, Dr. Mary Margaret Flynn.

He is survived by his aunts, Sister Mary Ann Uebbing, Christine O'Hare, Jane Huynh, his uncle Thomas Uebbing and eighteen cousins. His aunt Marcia Brown predeceased him.He also leaves behind his girl friend Rebecca Payne.
