She was born February 12, 1926 in Des Moines, Iowa the only child of Thomas Osborne and Pearl Osborne-Williby. At the end of that conflict, Harriet and family settled in the Greater San Jose area. When her husband suddenly passed away, Harriet found employment in the fledging semiconductor business in Mountain View. It was there she met and married her second husband Werner Keim in 1962, for the next 52 years. Aside from her first husband, Harriet is preceded in death by her son Kenneth W. McCallum II, Sergeant USMC/Vietnam, of natural causes in 1986. She has 2 children, 2 grand children and 5 great-grand children. She and her husband moved to Yuba City in 1990.
