Obituary of Guy Stoddard

Guy Stoddard, 77, passed away peacefully after a short illness on December 3rd, 2014. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 3rd, 1937, he resided in Los Altos, California since 1990. He attended Humboldt High School, Hamline University and St. Olaf College in Minnesota. Guy was an incredibly innovative, instinctively bright and compassionate humanitarian, animal lover, and extraordinary human being. He is deeply missed by his significant other and best friend of thirty-four years, Jody Mechanic, and many cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Wednesday, December 10th at 7:00 P.M. at Spangler Mortuary in Los Altos, located at 399 S. San Antonio Road. A celebration of Guy's life will also take place in St. Paul, Minnesota at a future date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of the United States, or to the charity of your choice.
