On September 21, 2019 Gloria Jane Shuey went peacefully to heaven, to God to whom she devoted her life, to Husband Thomas Shuey, Son Brian Shuey and her immediate Family who join her. Gloria was born on April 23, 1924 in Des Moines, Iowa. She dedicated a life of service to Veterans as a counselor and nurse. She was respected by all whose lives she touched. A loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, she is survived by her children who miss her dearly; Gavin & Nancy Shuey, Thomas Jr. & Jan Shuey, Matt Shuey, Maureen & Chris Vaughn, Michelle Shuey, Tim & Diane Shuey, Molly & Al Galedrige and Mark & Dawn Shuey as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her vigil will take place at St. Basil's Church in Los Gatos, CA on September 25, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. Her funeral and burial will follow September 26, 2019. She will be interned at the Gates of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos, CA.
