Obituary of Genevieve C. Martina

Born in Mauleon/Basses Pyrénées, France. Beloved Wife of the late Fernand (Fred) Martina for 45 years. Cherished Mother of Marie-Thérèse Eads, Sylvie Burns and Jacques Martina. Mother-in-law of Kevin Burns and the late Sidney Eads Jr. Doting and beloved Mémé of Sidney Eads III and Brendan Burns. Aunt to many nieces and nephews in the United States and France. Genevieve was active at St. Joseph Elementary School helping with hot lunches and yard duty. Her greatest joy was her family, known for her kindness, compassion, generosity and graciousness to everyone she met. Genevieve loved to cook and would make delectable French meals especially during the holidays. Aside from her passion for her family, she was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Golden State Warriors fan often writing game stats to remember and repeat later. Genevieve immigrated to Cleveland, OH in 1954. In 1960, she came to Mountain View on vacation where she met her beloved Fernand and soon after married. She will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mom, Mémé, you will always be in our hearts and we will miss your love, advice and singing.
