Obituary of Geneva Jean Haertel

GENEVA HAERTEL, Ph.D.

Geneva Haertel passed away August 31,2016 at El Camino Hospital.
Geneva was Director of assessment research and design in the
Center for Technology in Learning at SRI International.
She had 30 years of experience conducting research on
assessment, student learning and K-12 education programs.
She was named an SRI Fellow in 2015.

Geneva was born in Hazleton, PA, the daughter of the late
Daniel and Eva (Socker) Di'Luzio. She received a B.S. in
Education and a Ph.D. in Education/Educational Psychology
from Kent State University.

Geneva is survived by her cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.William Church, Los Altos, CA
on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10am.
