Eric Wayne Seppeler, the first son of Wayne and Mary Seppeler, passed away on June 7, 2023, surrounded by his three brothers and sister in law. Eric was born on July 24, 1957, in Palo Alto, California, and graduated from the University of Colorado. Eric pursued a career as a chemist working for various pharmaceutical companies, enjoying working in a lab most of his time. Eric had many challenges relating to being a Type 1 diabetic for 45 years, but never complained, handling the disease with amazing courage. The last few years found Eric going back to his faith at the church he was raised in, Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Los Altos. Eric did so much for his mother and father as their health declined. He was truly an angel to them. Eric's most enjoyable hobby was music collecting and listening – he could have had a radio show. Eric leaves a legacy of showing how to care for others, even while you are in significant pain and having many health issues. He was selfless, and a role model for his brothers.  Eric will be greatly missed, but the world was blessed to have him.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday July 15, 12 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1715 Grant Road, Los Altos, with a reception to follow at the church.
