Obituary of Edward Paul Paoli

Edward Paul Paoli passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25th, 2015 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Anna Marie, his children and their spouses: Sera and Russell Maben, Melissa and Roberto Borgione, and Eric and Megan Paoli, his siblings Bill Paoli, Valerie Oliver and Tom Paoli and their loving spouses, grandchildren Etta and Ryan Edward Maben, as well as many adoring nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Mary Paoli. Edward grew up in San Mateo and attended St. Bartholomew's and Serra High School Class of '68, Go Padres! He was a proprietor of Paoli Meats in San Mateo and Redwood City and was a meat-cutter in several markets along the peninsula; including most recently, Draeger's Market in San Mateo, where he looked forward to going to work every day. Meat-cutter by day and life-coach by night, he never missed an opportunity to give his loved ones "filets" of wisdom. We will miss the backyard BBQs, watching sports, the long walks, and learning from him what family truly is. Ed, we will miss your spirit, your positive attitude and constant support. You were our biggest cheerleader and now we are so lucky to have you as our guardian angel. We love you!
