Obituary of Doris C. Adamo
Doris, beloved wife, mother, nonni, great grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 91. Doris, a lifelong Cupertino resident, was born to Peter and Angelina (Jacuzzi) Tunesi. She graduated from Fremont High School as class Valedictorian, and later, pursued a career in the Real Estate industry as a Branch Manager for a number of premier Title Companies. Doris, an avid reader, also enjoyed travel & gardening. Her backyard and its beautiful landscapes were creative reflections of her talents and interests. Above all, her greatest passion was sharing time with her family. Central to her life was her devoted husband, Joseph, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. She is survived by Joseph and sons, Philip (Beverly), Robert, Christopher and Thomas (Lorna), 7 grandchildren, Dominic, Sergio, Emilio, Basevi, Derek, Alexander, Genavieve, great granddaughter Nikeera Ky, and extended family and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and her only sibling, a sister, Edith DeAmicis. She was an eternal optimist. Her unconditional love, wisdom, knowledge and contributions to her loved ones were immeasurable. A Christian memorial mass in celebration of Doris' life will be held on Fri. May 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 10110 N. De Anza Blvd., Cupertino, followed by a reception after the service in the parish community center.
