Obituary of Daniel Joseph Voet

Daniel J. Voet, 68, passed away on January 2, 2019. Dan was born on November 27, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, and his son, Alex. He is also survived by his sisters, Bette (Tom), Kathy (Mike), Janet, and Nancy (Larry). He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Kathy), and preceded in death by his brother, Paul (Judy).

Also preceded in death are his parents, Leo and Claire.

He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Jenny, Jamie, Jodie, Amanda, Heidi, Jacob, Max, and Chris. He is also survived by his five grand—nieces and nephews.

Dan received a BA from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, with an emphasis in Finance. He then received his CPA Certificate from the State of California. He received a Certificate in Bioinformatics with Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

His most recent position was Senior Vice President, Finance, with Charles Schwab & Co. He also served as Manager of Financial Analysis and Planning at Bank of America Cheque Corporation, and was Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche.

Dan had a passion for learning, history and travel. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and caring personality. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
