It is with profound sadness that we announce the January 6th passing of our family matriarch, Daisy S Greathouse, age 94.
She leaves behind her four children, William, Susan, Nancy, and Debra, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Greathouse, whom she met while working as a secretary at Blaw Knox Corporation.
Daisy was born in Aliquippa, Pa and she lived most of her adult life in the Brookline area of Pittsburgh, Pa. She was a dynamic personality and widely known for her skill with cooking. She passed her talent for cooking onto all four of her children.
As her children all moved to the San Fransisco Bay area, she chose to relocate to Chateau Retirement facility.
She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace, Daisy.
