Obituary of Connie Berberich
Connie Berberich passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon with family by her side. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She had a warm and giving spirit and touched the hearts of all who knew her. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Angela, and her brothers, Thomas, Albert and Theodore Rivas. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Len Berberich, her four children: Mark Berberich, Angela Berberich, Eva Berberich and Ann-Marie Dunphy, and her cherished granddaughter, Olivia. Born Eva Consuelo Rivas and raised in Alameda, Connie took great pride in being a student at St. Joseph's Elementary and Notre Dame High School. In 1961, she married the love of her life Len Berberich and raised their four children in San Carlos where they resided for forty years. Connie's great faith and deep connection to the Blessed Mother was her constant guide and source of strength. She loved being a mother and selflessly gave all of herself not only to her family, but to everyone she knew. Connie appreciated life and saw joy and beauty in all things. She saw the good in everyone and drew all to her with a loving spirit and generous heart. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 10th at 5:00 pm followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm at Spangler Mortuary, 799 Castro St., Mountain View. Family and friends are also invited to attend a memorial mass on Friday, April 11th at 11:00 am at The Church of the Nativity, 210 Oak Grove Ave., Menlo Park. A reception celebrating Connie's beautiful life will follow at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club, 2900 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park.
