Obituary of Charles Pearson

Father of Chuck Pearson of Torrance, Mike Pearson of Los Angeles, Robert Pearson of Newport Beach, and Catie Pearson of New York, NY. Son of Arnold Pearson of Valhalla, NY. Brother of Thomas Pearson of Mt. Kisco, NY, John Pearson of South Lake, TX, Bill Pearson of North Salem, NY, Chris Pearson of Mason, OH. Grandfather of Hannah Pearson of Torrence and soon-to-be Maddyn Pearson of Los Angeles. Born January 10,1952 in White Plains, New York. Age 56. A Chief Executive Officer . I am so sad to share this news. Chuck has been fighting lung cancer for 16 months and my heart is broken to tell you that God has taken him to a better place. Charles Arnold Pearson was born on January 10, 1952 in White Plains, NY and passed away on November 28, 2008 in Los Altos, CA in the presence of his beloved wife of 35 years and all his children. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Chuck, Michael, Robert, and Catherine; daughters-in-law Katie and Christine; granddaughter, Hannah Marie, and expected granddaughter, Maddyn Grace; brothers, Bill, Tom, John, and Chris; and his father, Andy. uck attended Stephanic High School in NY, King's College in PA, and received his Masters from Merrill-Palmer Institute in MI. He moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1976 with his loving wife Debbie and built a recruiting business called Murgence, which he successfully ran as CEO for over 30 years. Chuck was the Director of SID (Society of Information Displays) for many years and received the president's award for his contributions in 2006. He participated in many international conferences, started various successful ventures, and was renowned for building one of the top-recruiting firms in the Semiconductor and Display industry. With a very large circle of friends, family, and colleagues, Chuck lead by example in all aspects of his life. He believed in a balanced life and focused all his efforts on supporting and loving his family, enjoying and helping his friends, and building successful businesses. He was extremely dedicated to his family and enjoyed his time spent coaching little league and soccer, and acting as president of the dad's club at both Brophy College Prep and Xavier College Prep. He touched the lives of many, many people who counted on him for guidance and strength. He made a lasting impression on every person he met. Chuck was diagnosed with non-smokers' lung cancer in July 2007 and endured many treatments with his strong and positive disposition. He passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the age of 56. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all. Services will be held at Holy Cross Mortuary, 5835 West Slauson, Culver City, CA 90230 Vigil on Thursday, December 4th from 3 to 8 P.M. at Holy Cross Mass on Friday , December 5th at 9 A.M.
