Betty (Pat) Hanzad, gone to meet Armen, the love of her life. Born at home in Hollister to Annie and Eugene Paterson. Raised in Modesto and Mt. View by Annie and Grant Runyan in a loving family.

She was destined to be a teacher. Pat graduated from San Jose State in 1948. She was an educator for 33 years in Modesto and Alum Rock Schools. After retiring, Pat volunteered at SJSU Athletics from 1983 to 2014. GO SPARTANS!

Survived by cousins Marty and Sue Spangler and Donna Looney.
