Obituary of Ben T. Furuichi

Ben T. Furuichi Ben, 86, entered into rest Feb 14, 2012. One of the long time owners of Los Altos Nursery. Survived by his devoted wife June, daughters Shirley (Charles) Griffin, Carol (Ken) Neishi, grandchildren Kristen and Kyle. Ben was the brother of Toshiko (The late David Sr.) Kawamoto, Fred (Karen) Furuichi, Jimmy (Satoko) Furuichi and The Late Betty (Ed) Deslauriers. He was the son of The Late Tomizo and Yoshiye Furuichi. Services will be held at Mtn View Buddhist Temple. 575 No. Shoreline Blvd, Mtn View, CA on Feb 22nd at 3pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Pathways Home Health and Hospice 585 North Mary Ave. Sunnyvale CA 94085. (408-730-1200). The Furuichi family would like to gratefully acknowledge the many health care providers that participated in Ben's care including his physicians, dentists, and the many staff members at Sunnyside Gardens Assisted Living, Avenidas Senior Center and Pathways. With the kind help of these dedicated professionals, his last years were filled with much happiness and comfort.
