We celebrate the life of Bansi K.Bhan, who transitioned beyond this world at the age of 84. Born in Kashmir in 1938, he was the first of his name to emigrate to the US, where he forged a career and a family from naught but what he carried in his pockets. He was an entrepreneur until his end, and shared that spirit with his siblings by helping them to the US to lead better lives. He was inspired by mountains and music, and he was fascinated by science and spirituality. A son, a brother, a father and a friend: he is survived by his wife Indra, his children Rajiv and Vanessa, his granddaughters Nisha and Nalini, and the memories we carry forever. May he rest peacefully for all time.
