Aseema Bhagvatiprasad Kantharia, 86, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, in Mountain View, California. Born on August 18, 1938, in Junaghad, India, she lived a life marked by warmth, compassion, and quiet strength that touched all who knew her. Aseema was cherished for her gentle, kind, and loving nature. Her presence brought comfort and joy to family and friends alike.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Toral Mehta and son-in-law Saumil Mehta; her children Darsan Krishnan, Devi Gopalakrishnan, and Jawahar Jain; and her grandchildren Lakshya Jain, Priya Jain, and Vishnu Darsan. Aseema was predeceased by her child Jayshree Jain.
