Alexander Antonio Lopez Obituary.

Alexander Antonio Lopez was born on January 27th, 1938, in Redwood City CA. Second youngest child of Antonio and Antonia Lopez. Alexander had five sisters and two brothers. Alex attended Saquoia High School and later worked for Associated Freight Lines Trucking Company and was a member of the teamsters’ union and briefly served as a marine reservist.

Alex married Sally M Simmons in 1957. They were married for 57 years before her passing in 2015. They shared a passion for music, especially Frank Sinatra. They made their home a place of love and joy for their grandchildren. Alexander was a longtime resident of Los Altos having resided in the same home for the past 52 years. Alexander died peacefully on June 19th surrounded by his family at his home on Arroyo Rd. He was 88 years old.

Survived by his children Linda and John, grandchildren, Monica, Marcella, Alexander, Jack and Matthew, and Great-Grand Children, Kiana, Layla, Mike, Isha and Alyia and his younger brother Reuben

Alexander’s service will be held at 11:00am on July 6th at St Joseph’s church in Mountain View. Reception will follow at the residence of John Lopez.
